Mark Ballas Joins 'Jersey Boys' as Final Frankie Valli

Mark Ballas is set to make his Broadway debut in the musical Jersey Boys, which just announced a closing date for January 15, 2017.

The 30-year-old Dancing With the Stars pro will join the show on October 18 as Frankie Valli. The show will have played 4,642 performances on the Great White Way when it closes and it currently is the 12th longest-running show on Broadway.

Jersey Boys was turned into a movie starring its original Tony-winning actor John Lloyd Young and it follows the story of the band Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

The musical has grossed $540 million to date and has been seen by just under five million people.
