Billie Lourd's Mother Carrie Fisher Dies at 60

We are so sad to report that Billie Lourd‘s mother, longtime actress Carrie Fisher, has sadly passed away.

She was 60 years old and, of course, best known for her work as Princess Leia in the Star Wars franchise.

“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning,” family spokesman Simon Halls told JJJ. “She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”

Carrie had a “massive heart attack” during a flight right before Christmas.

Our thoughts are with Billie and the rest of Carrie‘s loved ones during this difficult time.
