This is the question of the year!
When is MTV’s The Shannara Chronicles coming back for its’ second season? We have no clue!
The series, which stars Austin Butler, Ivana Baquero, Poppy Drayton, and Manu Bennett, was renewed for its’ sophomore season back in April of 2016 and JJJ is assuming that the new season has been all filmed and it’s ready to go — but MTV hasn’t announced a premiere date just yet.
However, when the show does come back to the network, we’ll be prepared.
This is what we know: The four actors mentioned above WILL be returning.
Everyone else: elven king Eventine Elessedil, elven Prince Arion Elessedil, Rover leader Cephelo, elven Commander diana Tilton, and Lorin — will not, as they all died in the first season.
The Shannara Chronicles followed the journey of Wil, Amberle and Eretria. Under the guidance of Allanon, they pledge to protect the Ellcrys from releasing banished demons back.
