OlderLiam Payne Namechecks Zayn in His Speech; Fans Have Mixed Reactions
Liam Payne got to present fellow Brit James Corden — the god of all things Carpool Karaoke — with the “Man of the Year” awards at the 2017 Glamour Awards last night, and his intro speech took a funny turn
The 23-year-old “Strip That Down” singer mentioned that James actually used to be in a boy bond (true story, it was called Insatiable) and the band had a slogan.
The slogan was “because you can’t get enough,” Liam said, right after setting it up by namechecking Zayn Malik. “One Direction never had a slogan, but if we had, Zayn might have stayed.”
