Katie Cassidy's Black Siren on 'Arrow' Will Have Some Redemption Storylines in Season 6

Katie Cassidy has returned to the Arrow-verse as Black Siren…and it’s looking like she’s going to stay that way.

In a preview from EP Wendy Mericle, she revealed to TVLine that her villainous turn will be a mainstay on the show, along with a few “what ifs”.

“I don’t know if there’s any question about whether or not the [idea] of redemption will come up; it has to,” Wendy shared. “Her father is there. Oliver is there. Everyone is going to be asking whether or not it’s possible to find a little piece of Laurel, the Laurel Lance they knew and loved, in there somewhere.”

But still, a powerful female villain is going to be awesome on Arrow!

“I think she’s interesting as a [villain],” Wendy adds. “Black Siren is a badass.”
