OlderKatherine Langford's '13 Reasons Why' Cast Mates are So Happy About Her Golden Globe Nomination
Katherine Langford woke up to some amazing news on Monday morning — a Golden Globe nomination for her role as Hannah Baker in 13 Reasons Why.
The Aussie-born actress shared a short reaction as soon as she heard on her Instagram Stories that morning, and after it settled in a bit more, shared another reaction on her Instagram feed.
“Waking up to this mornings’ incredible news after our season 2 wrap party last night…Thank you so much to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for your nomination for Best actress in a Drama Series,” she wrote. “I’m so honoured to be included alongside such an illustrious group of women and couldn’t think of a more talented and committed group of creatives, producers, cast and crew to share in this excitement with this morning!”
Katherine added, “I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to tell Hannah’s story, and I hope that this recognition can further shine a light on the life issues and struggles that we cover in the show.”
