Cole Sprouse Talks The Real Responsibility With 'Five Feet Apart' Character

Cole Sprouse is opening up about how his role in Five Feet Apart spoke to him in a new interview.

After the poster for the film, with Haley Lu Richardson, debuted, the 26-year-old actor got real about his character, Will.

“There are some roles that carry a real responsibility for accurate representation, this was one of them,” he told Teen Vogue. “Some say the currency of poetry is the acceptance of other poets, and I desire no audience more greatly than those who resonate with the challenges shown by the characters of this film.”

He adds, “It’s my hope that we did them justice. This was all for you guys.”

Five Feet Apart will hit theaters on March 22, 2019.
