Billie Eilish Explains How She's Beyond Her Years

Billie Eilish is on the cover of V Magazine‘s new issue and she was interviewed by fellow singer Pharrell Williams for her cover story!

The 17-year-old singer opened up about being beyond her years and how she’s avoided users in the music industry. Check it out:

On being beyond her years: “I just think you can have as much knowledge as [you ever will] at any age… I guess I can’t [back that up], since I’ve never been older than 17… But I think anyone at any age can do anything and say anything.”

On being a catalyst for change in women’s rights: “I hope so, I really hope so. I don’t even have words to say about what is going on in the world. I go deaf because of the sh-t that I hear…”

On working with a great team: “I am really, really lucky and grateful that I have had the experience that I had with my label and with my team and everyone, because I never had any issues with people trying to pull me in a different direction, one in which I would not want to be headed. I think that might just be because I have always been the kind of person that knows what the f–k I want, and if it’s not what I want, then I am not going to do it.”
