KJ Apa waits for his ride to the airport outside his hotel in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (November 12).

The 22-year-old Riverdale star attended the 2019 People’s Choice Awards just a few days before, where co-star Cole Sprouse picked up two awards. Riverdale was also nominated for two awards, but didn’t win.

While on the red carpet at the show, KJ admitted that he feels really lucky to be part of the cast of the show.

“I think we’re really lucky in a lot of ways, because everyone literally gets along with each other really well,” he shared. “We honestly spend way too much time with each other. But, at the end of the day, that’s great. Everyone’s got each other’s backs.”
