Joey King steps out for a day of press for her new movie The Lie on Wednesday (September 30) in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old Emmy-nominated actress looked pretty in a teal and blue outfit paired with white shoes as she stepped out to promote her new movie.

Here is the synopsis for The Lie: When their teenaged daughter (King) confesses to impulsively killing her best friend, two desperate parents (Mireille Enos and Peter Sarsgaard) attempt to cover up the horrific crime, leading them into a complicated web of lies and deception.

If you missed it, Joey is turning this book into a Netflix movie.
