Olivia Rodrigo Adds New Songwriting Credits on 'good 4 u'

Olivia Rodrigo has added a couple of new names as songwriters on her song “good 4 u“!

It’s been revealed that the 18-year-old singer retroactively has added two members of a band in the writing credits.

According to Variety, Olivia added Paramore‘s Hayley Williams and ex-guitarist Josh Farro to the songwriting credits.

The site reports that fans have long noticed the similarities between “good 4 u” and Paramore‘s hit song “Misery Business.”

Much like her song “1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back,” which interpolates Taylor Swift‘s “New Year’s Day,” Variety reveals that the new “good 4 u” credits is also an interpolation, which basically means an “element of a previously recorded song re-recorded and incorporated into a new song.”

If you missed it, Taylor Swift is also credited on Olivia‘s hit “deja vu.”
