To All The Boys' Emilija Baranac Will Star In New Netflix Comedy Series 'Fakes'

Emilija Baranac is starring in a new half-hour comedy series for Netflix!

The 27-year-old To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before actress has been cast as a lead in Fakes, according to Deadline.

She will be joined in the upcoming show by Richard Harmon and Jennifer Tong.

Fakes “is the story of two teenage best friends who accidentally build one of the largest fake ID empires in North America.”

CBC has first window rights to the series in Canada, while Netflix has first rights worldwide and second in Canada.

Fans may know Emilija most from the To All The Boys franchise, where she played Genevieve, or from Riverdale as Midge. Richard of course comes from The 100 and the recent movie A Cinderella Story: Starstruck, among many other projects.

Jennifer recently guest starred on Motherland: Fort Salem, and has been seen on Grand Army, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Charmed and in Sacred Lies.

Fakes will consist of 10, half-hour episodes and was created by David Turko, who serves as showrunner. Jasmin Mozaffari will direct the pilot.

Filming will take place on location in Vancouver, British Columbia through December.
