Becky G Reveals Her Goals For The Upcoming New Year

Becky G is opening up about her goals for the upcoming new year, 2022.

The 24-year-old singer shared her thoughts over the weekend while on Apple Music’s From Apple Music With Love, counting down to the holidays and playing some of her favorite Christmas songs.

On the show, Becky shared three things she wants to work on and grow next year.

“One of the things that I really want to work on is my mental health. I’m very, very, very passionate about mental health,” she said. “I think for a very long time, it was something that we didn’t talk about. It was very taboo. And focusing a little bit more energy, trying to create a little bit more balance when it comes to mental health, my heart, my mind, my soul, it’s just done so much for me and I feel like, I don’t know, 2022 is going to have some very simple, but good goals, maybe some meditation.”

“Maybe some more cooking, less ordering food in, practice my cooking skills,” Becky added.

The AMAs winner also wants to further develop her makeup brand Tresluce Beauty!

“My third goal is to continue to develop my make-up brand. My make-up company is something I’m really passionate about, it’s called Tresluce Beauty. It’s literally a love letter to my Latinx culture. I always say it’s not about me, it’s about we,” she dished.

“I think the art form of make-up is something that’s always fascinated me. And so I guess exercising my businesswoman skills to create more opportunity for our Latinx youth and artists through Tresluce is a goal of mine as well. I’m going to throw that one in there because ooh, I think 2022 is going to be a good one for our community, for sure.”
