Other sing-alongs coming out this year include Frozen, Frozen 2, the original animated Beauty and the Beast (1991) and the live action Beauty and the Beast (2017).

The Encanto sing-along news comes just after it was revealed that the popular soundtrack for the movie has topped the Billboard 200 Albums chart for the ninth nonconsecutive week.

Encanto has surpassed one million equivalent album units earned in the US, according to Billboard.

The soundtrack is now only one of two albums in the last five years to spend at least nine weeks in the No 1 spot. The other album is Morgan Wallen‘s Dangerous: The Double Album.

While the soundtrack is at the top, the hit song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” was dethroned as the No 1 song by Glass Animals‘ “Heat Waves” a couple weeks ago.

“Bruno” previously set a record for a song from Disney, and spent five weeks at the top, which is the longest run ever for a Disney song.

This past week, the track remains in the No 2 spot though, just behind “Heat Waves,” for the second week in a row.
