Zendaya Will Be Missing Met Gala For Second Year In a Row

We will be void of an amazing red carpet appearance again from Zendaya at the 2022 Met Gala!

The 25-year-old Euphoria star has confirmed that she will be skipping the annual fashion event for the second year in a row.

Zendaya missed the 2021 Met Gala as she had filming obligations for Euphoria, and she’ll be missing the event again, due to filming obligations.

“I hate to disappoint my fans here, but I will be working,” Zendaya told Extra. “Your girl’s got to work and make some movies, so I wish everyone the best. I will be playing tennis, but I will be back eventually… I’ll keep delivering in other ways.”

The tennis she is referring to is for her upcoming Luca Guadagnino movie Challengers, where she’ll star as a tennis player turned coach, alongside Mike Faist.

Zendaya will also serve as a producer on the film.
