'Heartstopper' Is Certified Fresh, Debuts In Netflix Top 10 Globally!

Kit Connor and Joe Locke star as Nick and Charlie, respectively, with fans and critics alike raving about the new series, which is based off of the graphic novels by Alice Oseman, who wrote the show as well.

Having only been out on Netflix for just five days, Heartstopper has received great reviews from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, and it has officially been “Certified Fresh” with a 100% critic rating. The audience rating is also super high, sitting at 98%!

According to the site, the series is “an inclusive romance told with striking sensitivity, Heartstopper is so effortlessly charming that viewers won’t dare skip a beat.”

In addition, Heartstopper is ranked at No 7 on the Top 10 TV English titles on Netflix for the week of April 18-April 24, with over 14 million hours viewed! That week’s list ended just two days after the show premiered!

Plus, the series has been in the Top 10 in 12 countries across Europe, including United Kingdom, Ireland, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Portugal and more.
