'Sweet Magnolias' Renewed For Season 3 By Netflix, These Stars Confirmed To Return

It’s official – after another cliffhanger at the end of season two, Sweet Magnolias has been renewed for a third season!

The Netflix drama series based on the novel series by Sherryl Woods will return to continue telling the stories of the Serenity residents.

At the time of the renewal, only three stars have been confirmed to reprise their roles.

The leading ladies, aka the Sweet Magnolias – JoAnna Garcia Swisher (Maddie Townsend), Brooke Elliott (Dana Sue Sullivan) and Heather Headley (Helen Decatur) – are all set to return as the lifelong best friends as they juggle relationships, family and careers in their small town of Serenity, South Carolina.

Also starring in the series are Chris Klein, Carson Rowland, Logan Allen, Anneliese Judge, Bianca Berry Tarantino, Jamie Lynn Spears, Chris Medlin and Dion Johnstone.
