Demi Lovato has entered their pop-punk era.
The 29-year-old performer released a new music video for their song “Skin of My Teeth” on Friday (June 9).
The clip begins with Demi singing their new song from a bathtub as an ominous figure reads headlines about their visit to rehab, with the pair coming face to face in a dramatic confrontation.
The video ends with a rain sequence as Demi performs the track wielding an electric guitar that shoots sparks.
“I’m alive by the skin of my teeth/ I survived but it got harder to breathe/ Asking why doesn’t make it easier/ Go easier on me,” they sing in the chorus. “God damn it I just want to be free/ But I can’t ’cause it’s a fucking disease.”
