Billy Magnussen Joins 'Spy Kids' Reboot Movie at Netflix

Billy Magnussen has been added to the cast of the upcoming Spy Kids reboot!

The 37-year-old actor was announced to be part of the new movie, from original Spy Kids creator, writer and director Robert Rodriguez, on Friday (July 22), according to Deadline.

This new Spy Kids is set “after the children of the world’s greatest secret agents unwittingly help a powerful game developer unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, leading them to become spies themselves to save their parents and the world.”

Billy joins previously announced Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, Everly Carganilla and newcomer Connor Esterson.

The Spy Kids reboot was first announced back in March, will Robert back as writer, director and producer. He’s also working on a sequel to the family hit We Can Be Heroes.
