'Kung Fu Panda 4' In the Works, Already Sets Release Date!

A fourth Kung Fu Panda movie is coming out!!!

Jack Black will return once again as the voice of the titular character Po, Deadline reports.

Dreamworks Animation announced the exciting news on Friday (August 12), along with a release date and premises for the film.

According to Deadline, the upcoming movie will “follow the further adventures of wide-eyed Po in ancient China, whose love of kung fu is matched only by an insatiable appetite.”

As of right now, Kung Fu Panda 4 is set for a March 8, 2024 release date. No directors are attached to the film at this time.

Currently, Jack Black returned as the voice of Po for the new Netflix series Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, which is streaming now.

On the series, Jack told THR that it’s still full of “all the magic stuff that made the first movie so great: it’s Kung Fu, it’s comedy, it’s adventure and in the end, it’s got some cool messages for the kids.”
