Daniella Karagach to Miss 'Dancing With The Stars' Live Show Due to COVID

Daniella Karagach will unfortunately not be on Dancing with the Stars tonight (September 26)!

The pro dancer, who is paired with Joseph Baena, has tested positive for COVID and is unable to perform in the ballroom.

“Hey guys, Unfortunately I have tested positive for Covid and won’t be performing tonight. Im completely asymptomatic and feeling totally fine,” Daniella shared on Instagram.

Daniella noted that new troupe member Alexis Warr Burton will be stepping in to dance with Joseph on the live show!

“I’m absolutely gutted and heartbroken I can’t be there but, I know @joebaena is in great hands with @alexis_warr Alexis, once again thank you for being amazing and stepping in for me,” the dancer wrote. “You’re incredible and I can’t wait to watch you two shine💜 We worked so freaking hard this week and I know you guys got this💪. Go show em how it’s done Joe❤️‍🩹 I’m so proud of you.”

DWTS also noted that everyone who has been in close contact with Daniella has tested negative, and those considered close contacts to her will be masked during the show. This will likely include Joseph and Alexis, of course, as well as Daniella‘s husband and fellow pro Pasha Pashkov and his dance partner Teresa Giudice.
