Ashley Tisdale Discovers She's Related to a Former Disney Co-Star!

Ashley Tisdale recently found out that she’s actually related to someone that she has known for many years!

The former Disney Channel star took part in “2 Lies & A Leaf,” a version of two truths and a lie, with Ancestry, and learned that she is related to one of her past co-stars.

During the episode, Ashley and her sister Jennifer were revealed that the actress is 10th cousins, once removed with someone she has shared screen time with and they were shocked!

They were given three choices – Zac Efron, Austin Butler or Cole and Dylan Sprouse. Jennifer guessed the twins, while Ashley guessed Austin.

Just before the answer was revealed, Ashley noted, “Oh my god, I’ve kissed almost every single one of them. And just so you know, I’ve kissed every single one of ‘em on a show, not like in real life.”

Ashley Tisdale is related to… Austin Butler!!

Ashley and Austin, who are longtime best friends and co-starred in the High School Musical spinoff Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, are 10th cousins, once removed!

“Austin and I always say we’re fraternal twins born very far apart, ’cause he’s much younger, and we’ve always had that connection,” Ashley said before it was revealed.

Afterwards, she proclaimed, “No wonder we have such a connection! We’ve always said we were brother and sister. That is insane! I literally am gonna cry.”

“He’s my best, best friend. I’m telling you, when we first met I was like, oh my god. We were like brother and sister from the minute we met,” she added.
