The 19-year-old star and her 22-year-old content creator girlfriend announced that they were dating back in October. However, they revealed that they’d split up with a post on social media on Saturday (December 17).

Avery took to TikTok to share the sad news. In a new video, JoJo gave her a gift that she referred to as a “sorry for breaking up with you present.”

She also explained why they made the decision in the comments section.

“We decided that we are better off as friends,” Avery told a fan. “We are both so young and still just trying to figure our stuff out.”

JoJo does not appear to have commented on the news just yet. However, the duo seem to be on very good terms.

The pair was last spotted together at Halloween Horror Nights in October.
