Avery Cyrus is speaking out about her breakup from JoJo Siwa after her ex said that she was being “used.”

The couple’s split was confirmed this past weekend and then a video was posted by JoJo‘s mom in which she said that she felt like she had been “used for views and for clout.”

JoJo didn’t specifically refer to Avery in the video, but it’s been the general consensus among fans that she was talking about her ex.

Avery spoke to E! News to clear the air following JoJo‘s statements.

“From my perspective, me and JoJo left on great terms and are still friends,” she said. “The relationship was very real, and I have nothing but love for JoJo and her family.”

Avery added, “I’m still very hurt that JoJo broke up with me. And I’m saddened and confused by the situation.”
