'grown-ish' Renewed for Season 6 Ahead of Mid-Season Return!

Exciting news – Freeform has already picked up grown-ish for a sixth season!

The black-ish spinoff series is set to return on the network for another season, continuing the stories of the Johnson kids and more.

The renewal comes just a week before the season five mid-season return NEXT Wednesday (January 18).

Marcus Scribner reprised his role of Junior for the show’s fifth season, after enrolling at Cal U, following his sister Zoey’s (Yara Shahidi) graduation from the same school.

Trevor Jackson, Diggy Simmons and Daniella Perkins are also series regulars, with Amelie Zilber, Ceyair Wright, Justine Skye, Matt Sato, Slick Woods and Tara Raani appearing in recurring roles.

The renewal news now makes grown-ish the longest-running show on Freeform right now, with Good Trouble right behind it.

Last summer, the Fosters spinoff was renewed for a fifth season!
