Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies doesn’t premiere for a couple more months, but the new teaser shows how the pink ladies were first formed in the 50s, a few years before the first Grease movie.

In the upcoming musical series, it’s 1954, four years before Grease, before rock ‘n’ roll ruled, before the T-Birds were the coolest in the school, when four fed-up outcasts dare to have fun on their own terms, sparking a moral panic that will change Rydell High forever.
The series stars Marisa Davila as Jane, Cheyenne Isabel Wells as Olivia, Ari Notartomaso as Cynthia, Tricia Fukuhara as Nancy, Shanel Bailey as Hazel, Madison Thompson as Susan, Johnathan Nieves as Richie, Jason Schmidt as Buddy, Maxwell Whittington-Cooper as Wally and Jackie Hoffman as Asst. Principal McGee.
Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies premieres Thursday, April 6th on Paramount+ in the US and Canada, and the following day in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France.
