Kiersey Clemons Opens Up About the Worst Part of Her 'Terrible' 'Pirates of the Caribbean' Audition

Kiersey Clemons had a “terrible” audition for Pirates of the Caribbean!

The 29-year-old actress is opening up about auditioning for the Disney movie and the worst part was in a new interview.

While speaking with Jennifer Hudson on her talk show, Kiersey dished that she went in very confident, but it ended up not going so well.

“Basically, I went in and I was so confident. I don’t know you’ve ever had an audition where you’re like, ‘Oh my god, this is, I got this in the bag.’ It didn’t go that way,” she said.

“I went in, I thought the character was like supposed to kind of be a little crazy and you didn’t know what she was going to do or say next, so I went in with that energy,” Kiersey continued. “Then I don’t hear back from my agent, so I’m like, ‘What happened? Where’s my offer at?’ And she was like, ‘It’s not going forward. The casting director asked actually if you were okay.’ Like, if I was well.”

“I was like no, the character is unwell. I just did a really good job, but that’s not the worst part,” she said. “The embarrassing part is that I was like, ‘I want to go back in,’ and I go back… But they shouldn’t have [let me back], because they said, ‘Is she okay?’ I go back in and the first thing I say, we’re walking in the room, and I’m like, ‘You can’t get rid of me!’”

While on the show, she also dished on her new house and her upcoming movie Somebody I Used To Know.
