Olivia Holt has just made her big Broadway debut in the musical Chicago!

The 25-year-old former Disney Channel and Freeform star hit the stage for her first night as Roxie Hart on Monday (April 10) at The Ambassador Theatre in New York City.

Olivia was seen taking a bow alongside Kimberly Marable, who also just debuted, as Velma Kelly, along with fellow newcomer Liam Fennecken as Amos Heart, as well as Erich Bergen, who returns to the role of Billy Flynn, and Charity Angel Dawson, who returns to the role of Matron “Mama” Morton.

“I really want to tap into all the layers that she has because I think it’s really important to showcase every single piece of her,” Olivia told J-14 of playing Roxie. “I really love that she’s not just one-note throughout the whole thing. Every time we see her on stage, she’s in a whole new headspace.”

“I think Roxie has inspired me to bring that, to just ignite that light again. I think that she’s so liberating and just so fearless,” she added. “She goes after what she wants, and she’ll showed kill somebody to do it. So, I think having that ambition and being inspired by that has helped me become liberated again.”

Olivia will be in Chicago for just eight weeks. Her final performance is set for June 4th. If you want to see her, you can get tickets at ChicagoTheMusical.com!
