If you missed it, Lana has actually teased the project recently.

“@rossbutler and I have been working on a little something 🤫, can’t tell you more so here’s a series of shots of him enjoying my champagne pain,” she shared on Instagram earlier this month.

The upcoming movie is set against the intercontinental backdrops of Seattle and Kuala Lumpur, and is described as “a modern, whip-smart romantic comedy following a year in the interconnected lives and romances of an all-Asian ensemble cast.”

Also starring in the film are Andrew Koji, Sung Kang, Elodie Yung, Karena Lam, Osric Chau, Ali Fumiko Whitney, Ricky He, Kheng Hua Tan and Yu-Beng Lim.

Lana and Andrew are also serving as executive producers.

“We’ve always loved ensemble romantic comedies like Love Actually and are so excited to be able to share our own take on the genre with an all Asian cast and a script inspired by our own love story, our family, and different stages of our lives,” King Street Pictures producers Dan Mark and Rachel Tan shared in a statement. “Having produced Asian American films since 2015, we feel honored for our labor of love to be a part of this incredible moment that Asian Americans are having in cinema right now.”

If you missed it, Lana has quite a few projects in the works, including Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken, which hits theaters later this month, plus reality dating show movie The One, and a ballerina action movie.

Ross will next be seen in the romance film Love In Taipei, debuting on Paramount+ later this summer.
