'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' 4th & Final Season Trailer Teases Hidden Romance, OG Cast Returns & More

The trailer for the upcoming final season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series has just debuted!!

In the new teaser for the Disney+ series’ fourth season, we get a sneak peek at the original High School Musical stars’ return, the songs being performed in the season, Rina’s romance being kept secret and much more.

“I wanted something loud for season 4,” showrunner Tim Federle tells EW. “Seeing all these beloved characters who are on the precipice of college, and big firsts, and possibly saying goodbye, or going the distance, or staying forever is just really meaningful.”

In season four, after an epic summer at Camp Shallow Lake, the Wildcats return to East High where they prepare a stage production of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.” But plans are disrupted when Principal Gutierrez announces that Disney has decided to make the long-awaited “High School Musical 4: The Reunion” movie on location at their beloved high school.

Joshua Bassett, Sofia Wylie, Dara Reneé, Julia Lester, Frankie Rodriguez, Kate Reinders and Liamani Segura all return, Kylie Cantrall, Matthew Sato, Caitlin Reilly, Vasthy Mompoint, Mark St. Cyr, Matt Cornett, Larry Saperstein, Joe Serafini, Adrian Lyles and Saylor Bell Curda all have recurring guest star roles.

Original High School Musical stars returning for the first time and once again include Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Lucas Grabeel, Bart Johnson, Alyson Reed and Kaycee Stroh.

The fourth and final season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series will debut in it’s entirety on August 9th.
