'Raven's Home' Star Mykal-Michelle Harris Lands Lead Role in Disney Junior's 'Ariel'
Mykal-Michelle Harris has landed an exciting new role!
The 11-year-old Raven’s Home actress will be starring as Ariel in the upcoming new animated series Disney Junior’s Ariel.
This casting news comes just two months after the show was first announced by Disney.
In addition to Mykal-Michelle‘s casting, they also revealed who will be voicing her father King Triton and sea witch Ursula, who is his sister in the recent live-action adaptation.

The preschool series will follow 8-year-old mermaid princess Ariel as she and her friends embark on fun-filled, action-packed underwater adventures throughout their Caribbean-inspired fairytale kingdom of Atlantica and beyond.

Taye Diggs as King Triton
Also joining the cast are Elizabeth Phoenix Caro and Cruz Flateau as Ariel’s friends Lucia and Fernie, and Gracen Newton as Flounder.
The upcoming series is set to debut on Disney Junior and Disney+ in 2024.
