Renee Rapp-Fronted 'Mean Girls' Musical Movie Gets Theatrical Release Date

The new Mean Girls musical movie is so fetch that it’ll be heading to theaters instead of just premiering on Paramount+.

If you were unaware, the forthcoming movie is based on the original hit movie, which starred the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams, and the ensuing Broadway musical that it inspired.

The cast features the likes of Renee Rapp as Regina George and Angourie Rice as Cady Heron.

While Mean Girls was initially scheduled to premiere on Paramount+, it has now been given a theatrical premiere date!

Deadline confirmed that Mean Girls would be coming to a theater near you on January 12, 2024.

The outlet noted that this is the second time a change has been made. Previously the horror movie Smile moved from the streamer to a theatrical release and was a massive hit.
