13: The Musical is out NOW and we’re getting to know one of the stars Gabriella Uhl!
The young actress makes her on-screen debut in the new Netflix movie, which is adapted from the Broadway musical of the same name.
Gabriella stars as Patrice in the film, who is Ruth’s (Rhea Perlman) next-door neighbor who becomes one of Evan’s new friends.
A young environmental activist who has her sights beyond Walkerton, Indiana, she struggles to fit in with the popular kids at school – a problem made worse when Evan invites them to his Bar Mitzvah. Patrice never stops fighting for what she believes in and stays true to herself.
JJJ spoke with Gabriella this week and got to know 10 Fun Facts about her, including that she was in a Broadway National Tour!

The young actor takes on the leading role of Evan Goldman, a nearly-13-year-old navigating his parents’ divorce, a complex move from New York City to small-town Indiana, and the intrusive anxieties of eighth grade.

We are getting to know one of the young stars of Netflix’s 13: The Musical – Jonathan Lengel!
The actor will be playing Archie in the movie, and was discovered through a worldwide casting call for the role.
Jonathan has a rare form of congenital muscular dystrophy and uses a wheelchair, just like his character in the movie. He was also told by doctors that he wouldn’t be able to sing or play the piano, but look at him now!

Eli Golden and Frankie McNellis pose together at the premiere of their new movie 13: The Musical held at The Paris Theater on Monday night (August 8) in New York City.
The young stars of the movie joined several more of their co-stars at the event, including Luke Islam, Gabriella Uhl, Lindsey Blackwell, Jonathan Lengel, Nolen Dubuc, Kayleigh Cerezo and Khiyla Aynne.
Also in attendance were adult co-stars Josh Peck, Peter Hermann, Debra Messing and Rhea Perlman, as well as director Tamra Davis, choreographer Jamal Sims, and writers Robert Horn, Dan Elish and Jason Robert Brown, who all also wrote the Broadway show.
