Madelaine Petsch dons a yellow gown while stepping out for the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The 27-year-old actress wasn’t the only Riverdale star in attendance – Cole Sprouse hit the carpet in a silver look, seemingly having quite a fun night!
Madelaine arrived with designer Jeremy Scott, wearing a custom mermaid bustier cut out gown in a marigold jacquard with gilded metallic thread, embellished with crystals, paired with maxi puffy sleeves and matching gloves from Moschino by Jeremy Scott.
Cole was seen wearing a custom Atelier Versace outfit, featuring a slim-fit blazer in silver duchesse, accompanied by a metal mesh tank top—a style in reference to the top worn by iconic musician Prince in a Versace photo shoot of the 1990s. He also wore a gilet (light, sleeveless padded jacket) finished with embroidered paillettes and crystals, which also feature as side bands along the length of the tailored tuxedo pants.

Jenna Ortega, Conan Gray and Avani Gregg make their Met debuts at the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The trio were among quite a few first time attendees at the event, which also included Elite actor Manu Rios!
Jenna is dressed in Valentino, with Chopard jewelry.
Conan is wearing Valentino silver sequin embroidered pants, a white tulle embroidered shirt and a chiffon cape, with Valentino Garavani platform boots especially designed for him by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli.
Avani can be seen wearing a Bach Mai dress.
“I’m so excited. I don’t even know how to feel. This is a dream come true for me, and I’m so excited to be supporting Bach Mai for his first collection and first Met Gala, as well,” Avani said about the night, via Instagram.
Manu is wearing a custom black sheer double-breasted lurex-brocade tuxedo with crystal embellishments from Moschino by Jeremy Scott.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner make quite the entrances at the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The sisters hit the carpet back-to-back, wearing black and white looks respectively.
Kendall opted for a custom Prada black tulle top with a net embroidered overlay and a black voluminous double silk satin skirt with hand pleated ruched details. She also wore Prada black satin sandals and a black sequin and leather triangle handbag, with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Kylie wore an ivory ball gown from Off-White by the late Virgil Abloh. She accessorized the look with a backwards baseball cap, with a veil and floral attachments, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Euphoria stars Sydney Sweeney and Maude Apatow make their debut at the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
This is the first time that the ladies have attended the event!
Their co-star Jacob Elordi was also seen at the Met Gala this year, wearing custom Burberry.
Sydney wore a custom Tory Burch look, and she actually had a reveal. The actress’ custom mini dress with a sheer geometric corset, draped taffeta skirt, and glitter tulle overlay, was topped with a removable custom ball skirt in ivory taffeta with a ruffled waist and glitter tulle overlay. Her look was complete with Aquazzura heels and Maison Boucheron jewelry.

Maude wore a custom Miu Miu Chantilly lace gown with black crystal and fringing embroidery, completed with black velvet bust detailing. She completed her look with Cartier jewelry.

Thomas Doherty and Evan Mock make their entrances at the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The Gossip Girl stars suited up in very different looks for the annual fashion event in the City.
This is actually Thomas‘ first time attending the Met Gala, while Evan attended the event the year before.
Thomas is dressed in a custom Dior men’s collection grey wool tailcoat with matching pants, a white cotton wing-tip collar shirt with plastron piqué, a white cotton self-tie bow-tie, an off-white wool shawl collar vest, black patent leather derbies, and jewelry.
Evan is wearing a Head of State look with Cartier jewelry.
Thomas and Evan are currently in the midst of filming season two of their HBO Max series Gossip Girl, which recently filmed in Italy!

Addison Rae wears a disco ball dress while attending the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The 21-year-old TikTok star and actress’s gown actually consisted of approximately 11,000 mirrors of different shapes and sizes.
Addison wore a Michael Kors black tulle halter gown with hand-embroidered mirrors that were attached with individually embroidered microbeads in seven different shades to help create the ombré effect.
The gown took over 350 hours to make!

Celebs attending the Met Gala this year are expected to follow the “Gilded Glamour” dress code. The lucky guests have been asked to “embody the grandeur—and perhaps the dichotomy—of Gilded Age New York,” a period that stretched from 1870 to 1890.

Billie Eilish wears an upcycled gown while attending the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The 20-year-old “Happier Than Ever” singer’s brother and best friend Finneas stepped out for the gala as well.
Billie donned a custom upcycled Gucci ivory and duchesse satin corseted gown with green lace underlay and ivory skirt in gathered duchesse satin with padded bustle, cascading floral arrangement on the train and a tonal duchesse corsage with lilac accents. Her look was complete with a black choker with jet black scalloped embroidery and beige platform shoes.
For Finneas, he wore a Gucci black tailcoat with pleated skirt and embroidered patch detail on the back from the Spring/Summer 2017 runway show. His look was completed with a lilac purple GG motif crêpe shirt with self-fabric bow, dove grey wool gabardine vest, black pants and black leather loafers with gold buckle detail.
The year before, Billie served as one of the co-chairs for the annual fashion event.
