'The Flash' Introduces Sue Dearborn, Who Has Close Connection to Ralph Dibney

'The Flash' Introduces Sue Dearborn, Who Has Close Connection to Ralph Dibney

Sue Dearborn has arrived on The Flash!

In the latest episode, after months of searching for Sue Dearbon (Natalie Dreyfuss), Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) gets a lead on her whereabouts and finally comes face to face with his missing client.

However, Sue refuses to return home to her family, and instead, takes Ralph on a daring adventure.

Who is Sue Dearborn, you ask?

According to ComicBook.com, in the comics, Sue is the one who eventually becomes Ralph’s wife. She was “a socialite from New York who met Ralph when he crashed her debutante ball with Ralph doing something that is quintessentially Ralph Dibny: using the ruse of dealing with jewel thieves as a means to see Sue.”

“The pair ended up having a whirlwind romance and married quickly with the Dibny’s becoming one of the most loving (and beloved) couples in comics with Sue staying right by her husband’s side as he served with the Justice League.”

This Is How Barry Is Handling The Aftermath of Oliver's Death When 'The Flash' Returns

This Is How Barry Is Handling The Aftermath of Oliver's Death When 'The Flash' Returns

The Flash is returning tonight (February 4) and Barry is dealing with Oliver’s death.

In the all new episode, “Marathon”, after The Citizen prints an explosive story, Iris’s (Candice Patton) life is threatened. Refusing to hide from those that are attacking her, Iris sets out to expose a dangerous organization. Meanwhile, Barry (Grant Gustin) must face the consequences of the Crisis and fulfill Oliver Queen’s wish for him.

The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace opened up about how Barry is dealing with Oliver’s death.

“He is ready to enjoy life with gusto. He’s so happy to have a second chance, as we are all,” he told TV Guide. “There’s also, I think, a little bit of survivor’s guilt leftover from Oliver’s death. Oliver didn’t make it out of Crisis. He was the only one, and that’s going to haunt Barry just a little bit.”

“The way you cope with tragedy is holding on and embracing the loved ones in your life and celebrating them,” Eric added. “I think that’s a lesson that Barry will have to kind of relearn over the course of graphic novel number two and this whole season, and that’s where his head’s at when we kick off with our premiere.”

The Flash airs TONIGHT (February 4) at 8/7c on The CW!

'Arrow' Series Finale Seemingly Confirms This Long-Running Fan Theory!

'Arrow' Series Finale Seemingly Confirms This Long-Running Fan Theory!

Spoilers ahead! Don’t read if you haven’t watched the series finale of Arrow.

Fans totally went crazy over the final moments of the Arrow series finale!

The finale saw the end of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) sacrificing himself in order to reboot the universe and create the combined Earth Prime universe that all the Arrowverse heroes now live in.

At the end of the episode, the Green Arrow’s bodyguard John Diggle (David Ramsey) teases new adventures to come, and we see a meteor streak across the sky. Diggle then goes to the crash site and finds a box with an emerald ring inside – aka the power ring worn by The Green Lantern.

For years, it has been a long-running theory by Arrow fans that Diggle would turn out to be Green Lantern John Stewart. The show’s been dropping Easter eggs on that theory for years with us learning that Diggle’s grandfather’s last name was “Stewart” and once in an alternate universe version of the Flash once asked Diggle “where’s your ring?” when he met him.

“That was something that we’ve been working our way towards for a good long time now,” showrunner Marc Guggenheim shared with Deadline. “I think for maybe about a year, year-and-a-half we’ve known that this was a moment we’re going to be able to do, and it made sense to do it in the finale because my attitude is that even though the show ends, as long as the characters are alive the characters continue on. One of the things we wanted to do with the finale was give you a sense as to what their post-show trajectories would be. And certainly, Diggle’s is probably the most intriguing.”

Here’s to hoping we get more from The Green Lantern in the future!
