The plot circles a gamemaker, Mr. Lemoncello, who builds a magical library full of fantastical worlds. A chosen group of kids have to complete riddles and solve clues to escape the library, and things quickly turn from wonderful to chaotic as the book worlds spirals out of control.

In the midst of all of the spooky Halloween movies this October, another movie is dropping: Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library.
The Nickelodeon TV movie stars Casey Simpson from Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, School of Rock star Breanna Yde, Twilight‘s Russell Roberts, and newcomers AJ Rivera and Klarke Pipkin.

Nickelodeon star Casey Simpson is collabing with Bruno Mars’ “I Like It That Way” thanks to musical.ly‘s new feature “Duets.”

Nickelodeon is adapting the children’s book by author Chris Grabenstein into an original TV movie starring School of Rock star Breanna Yde, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn‘s Casey Simpson, Twilight‘s Russell Roberts, as well as newcomers AJ Rivera and Klarke Pipkin.
The plot follows a group of friends whose overnight stay in their town’s new hi-tech library turns into a daring, dangerous adventure of escape.
Production has begun in Vancouver, Canada, with a premiere set for 2017.
