Lindsay Arnold Dishes On Rehearsals With Corbin Bleu & Jordan Fisher For Tonight's DWTS Trio Dance (Exclusive)

Lindsay Arnold possibly had her arms full this past week with not only teaching two dances to Jordan Fisher, but she also had to add in another dancer !

The Dancing With The Stars pro opened up in her exclusive blog for JJJ about her time management with both Jordan and Corbin Bleu this week.

“We have a lot this week…The way I like to make it work is splitting the time equally between both dances and make sure that both Jordan and Corbin feel equally as good about their performance,” she says. “I don’t ever want it to be like ‘Oh, this one is good’ and then ‘This one is eh’.”

Lindsay adds, “We’re going to have to put the same amount of time into each of the dances and also, we don’t always have Corbin in our rehearsal and it’s important that any time we get with him, we are taking advantage of that. He and Jordan have to dance in sync as well, and a lot of that’s going to be matching their movements.”

“For me, I’ve never danced with Corbin either…I’ve seen him dance but it’s different when you’re doing it in real life. I too, have to learn the way he moves best and try to match those guys together and find moves that they both look great doing.”

For their trio dance, Lindsay, Jordan and Corbin will be performing a salsa — and we can’t wait to see it!

Check back with JJJ later tonight for all the performances!

Re-Watch Corbin Bleu's Trio Dance From 'DWTS' Before His Big Return on Monday!

It’s safe to say that we’re all pretty stoked that Corbin Bleu is going to be back in the ballroom on Dancing With the Stars this coming week.

The former competitor showed off his skills during season 17, landing in 2nd place with partner Karina Smirnoff. He’ll be back on Monday with a salsa trio dance with Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold.

JJJ remembered Corbin‘s original trio dance with Karina and Witney Carson — and we just needed to share it again!

“We felt she was a perfect fit and has proven us right,” Corbin once shared about his own trio dance. “It’s a nice change up to have another creative mind in the room. And the best part, she’s also a tap dancer!”

Lindsay Arnold Researched Corbin Bleu's Old Dances Right After Performing on 'DWTS' (Exclusive)

Lindsay Arnold Researched Corbin Bleu's Old Dances Right After Performing on 'DWTS' (Exclusive)

Lindsay Arnold and Jordan Fisher just had their first rehearsal with Corbin Bleu!

Team Fish Upon a Star hit the dance floor running with their planned trio dance, which is a Salsa, for the upcoming Dancing With The Stars show.

Speaking with Lindsay this week, she told us that as soon as she found out that Corbin was their trio partner, she was in research mode.

“I was online watching his dances,” almost the minute after the show ended on Monday.

Lindsay adds, “Seeing the way he moved with Karina Smirnoff in season 17. He and Jordan are just so similar in they way they move and the way they perform.”

“That’s what we need too. We need them to look in sync and don’t want anyone to look like they are weaker than the other. We want them both to look awesome and I know we can do that.”

Stay tuned for much more about Lindsay and Jordan‘s upcoming dances soon!

Lindsay Arnold is kind of living every teen girl’s (or former teen girl’s) dream right now — because she’s not only performing with Teen Beach Movie‘s Seacat every week on Dancing With The Stars, now she’s dancing with Chad Danforth from HSM too!

JJJ caught up with the pro dancer after an amazing Halloween night performance and we chatted all about adding Corbin Bleu to her partnership with Jordan Fisher for their trio dance this coming week.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” she told us. “Two dances is tough and this time it’s not like one dance and team dance where you have other people kind of helping, it’s two dances where Jordan and I are going to be dancing full out the entire time.”

“Then, we’re adding another celeb into the mix, which is exciting because it’s Corbin, and I could not be happier that he’s joining us for the trio dance,” Lindsay adds. “It’s going to be incredible energy in the rehearsal studio but at the same time, it’s a challenge because I have two celebs who have to look in sync and keep up to the bar that I’m going to ask them to set. It’s exciting and a lot of pressure, but if anyone can do it, Jordan and Corbin can.”

Lindsay also says that Jordan and Corbin‘s friendship is only going to help their partnership on the dance floor.

“It’s very fun because we got to hang with Corbin a bit since he was at Monday’s show. They are very good friends and have known each other for a very long time. This is one of those times where this is going to be their first time working together, even though they’ve done so many things that are similar,” she shared with us. “I’m excited that the first thing that they get to do together in their careers is DWTS and I get to be a part of that moment.”

“They have a great bond and are very similar in their personalities — I feel like I’m just going to be watching their friendship in the studio and wondering if they really are the same person (laughs). I’m excited to see their energy in the room together because I know they both want to do well and it’s going to push us to be even better.”

For their trio performance, Team Fish Upon a Star and Corbin will be dancing a salsa; and for their solo performance, Jordan and Lindsay will perform a quickstep.

Dancing With The Stars is doing something a little different with their trio rounds this year on the show.

And in a partnership dream come true — Corbin will be teaming up with Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold!

If you didn’t know, Corbin and Jordan are actually great friends and go way back. We mean, they even had matching hairstyles once upon a time. LOL!

Corbin Bleu Calls His Time on 'Dancing With The Stars' Incredible

Corbin Bleu Calls His Time on 'Dancing With The Stars' Incredible

Corbin Bleu is by far one of our favorite dancers — and for good reason because he’s insanely talented.

However, the former High School Musical actor admits that ballroom wasn’t his forte at all when he signed up for Dancing With The Stars.

“I went into the show as a fan, knowing how to move since I am a dancer, but these were dance forms I never studied before,” he admits to BWW.

“Not only did I learn from this incredible woman [partner Karina Smirnoff] about ballroom dancing, [but] we became really great friends as we developed our dance partnership, and I really could not have asked for anyone better.”

Corbin has such fond memories of his time on the program, which he was runner up in season 17.

“One of the best parts of Dancing with the Stars is that you have their incredible creative team at your fingertips,” Corbin adds. “First you are given a song and the category of dance to perform, then you work with your partner as a team based on your abilities. Then you sit down with the creative team, tell them what you want in the way of costumes and set, and you get everything within 2 days!”

We can’t wait for season 25 — coming up in just a few months!
