There’s only one day left until the premiere of Despicable Me 3 and we can hardly wait!
JJJ had the chance to talk with star Dana Gaier to chat all about the new big bad, how her character Edith has grown and the Minions!
“Bob. Definitely Bob,” Dana shared when we inquired about her absolute favorite Minion ever.
She adds, “He’s kind of like the baby of the group and he’s so adorable. He’s got two different colored eyes and carries around a doll — you really can’t help but fall in love with him.”

Miranda Cosgrove hits up the Puma x Minions Collaboration Launch in Los Angeles on Wednesday (June 28).
The new PUMA x Minions collection features tons of apparel, shoes and accessories for men, women and kids. Miranda’s co-star Dana Gaier was also at the event.

In a recent interview, Miranda admitted that she has a favorite minion — Bob…and new minion character, Mel.
“Bob’s my favorite Minion,” she admitted. “He’s the one that has the different-colored eyes. He’s really cute. I think he’s the cutest and I like Mel in this movie, He came out of nowhere.”
Miranda is also pictured below at a press day for Despicable Me 3 held at Nikki Beach Miami Beach in Miami, Fla.
Dana Gaier is back as Edith in the upcoming Despicable Me 3, which we can’t wait to see!
JJJ caught up with the actress and student about the film and to find out what’s new with Edith.
“I’ve had so much fun making Despicable Me 3 and I actually think it’s my favorite movie of the franchise,” Dana told us.
She adds, “I can’t wait for people to see it because I know they will fall even more in love with Gru, Lucy, and the girls.”

Dana Gaier looks so chic at the premiere of Despicable Me 3 in Los Angeles on Saturday (June 24).
The actress, who voices Edith in the film franchise, hit the yellow carpet wearing a cool Theia jumpsuit.
JJJ had the chance to talk with Dana about the latest film and she is really excited for everyone to see it — even villain Balthazar Bratt.
“He’s stuck in the 80s and I can’t wait for all of the 80′s music and culture attached to his character,” she says. “His background story is so funny and clever.”
Dana adds, “When the writers told me about him I couldn’t stop laughing.”

Dana Gaier might’ve missed the ‘wear yellow’ memo as she arrives at the premiere for Minions held at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday afternoon (June 27) in Los Angeles.
The 17-year-old actress, who voiced Edith in Despicable Me, was joined by Elsie Fisher (Agnes), and Jurassic World‘s Ty Simpkins and his sister Ryan.

Minions centers on Kevin, Stuart and Bob, who embark upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Sandra Bullock), the world’s first-ever female super-villain.
