Leo Howard and Mateo Arias face off against Debby Ryan and Skai Jackson during the Wii U Showdown held at Westfield Century City Mall in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (December 9).
The guys, along with co-star Olivia Holt, competed with the Jessie cast for the “How You Will Play Next” crown.
Disney has partnered up with Nintendo for a series of interstitials which will feature all the casts of Jessie and Kickin’ It. The casts will be competing against each other while playing Nintendo Wii U games.
In tomorrow’s all-new episode “Oh, Christmas Nuts!”, to teach the gang about the spirit of Christmas, Rudy (Jason Earles) volunteers Jack (Leo Howard), Jerry (Mateo Arias) and Milton (Snyder) to work at Santa’s village. However, their good intentions backfire when the lead elf gets them banned from the mall, forcing them to become “the kids who stole Christmas.”
While the guys try to prove their innocence, Kim (Olivia Holt) and Eddie (Alex Christian Jones) battle it out in a holiday window display contest.

In tomorrow’s new episode “Kickin’ It On Our Own: Part 1 and 2,” when Rudy’s (Jason Earles) uncle Blake (George Wendt) offers him a high profile job at his chain of amusement parks, Rudy quits the dojo and Bobby Wasabi sells it to Ty (Ian Reed Kesler) and the Black Dragons. After Ty downgrades the Wasabi Warriors to white belts, they all decide to leave the dojo and go their separate ways.
When Rudy calls the gang together for dinner to make a big announcement, he discovers the truth and decides to win back his dojo via a tournament with Ty and the Black Dragons.
Milton (Dylan Riley Snyder) enlists the help of his Aunt Jillian (Jillian Michaels) to get them back in shape for the tournament, but, Ty brings in a ringer, WWE star Kofi Kingston, to go up against Rudy.

The show, which followed Jack (Howard) as he reluctantly joined the Bobby Wasabi Martial Arts Academy, will watch as they gang embarks on new adventures outside the dojo.
Production resumes in Hollywood in January.

Leo Howard and John Brenkus stand up to the challenge in their new series, Disney XD ESPN Sport Science, premiering TODAY.
The 15-year-old Kickin’ It star will be teaming up with ESPN to uncover sports’ biggest myths and mysteries.
The short form series brings together professional athletes in state-of-the-art scientific facilities to test the limits of human athletic abilities, while challenging popular assumptions about athletes and sports.
In the premiere episode, “Full Contact, MLB Vision, Flips & Spins,” Leo and John will test the impact of a 300-pound heavy bag and showcase how San Francisco 49er Vernon Davis manages incoming forces to block, catch and run; Leo will try to hit a 90-mph fastball and MLB batting champ Nomar Garciaparra tests the reality of keeping an eye on the ball; and Leo also tries on special eye tracker glasses and investigates how free style skier, Simon Dumont, keeps track of which end is up while flipping in mid-air.

And if you log onto DisneyXD.com/TRY, you can participate in the “TRYit Challenger” where kids and parents can pledge to challenge themselves in new ways such as trying a new dance move or a swim stroke or adding a piece of fruit to a meal.
