Jordan Fisher is feeling all the emotions right now ahead of tonight’s Dancing With The Stars finale.
Not only will Jordan be dancing again with pro partner Lindsay Arnold two more times, he’ll also be performing a holiday mashup with Debbie Gibson!
“I have a range of emotions actually,” Jordan tells JJJ just hours ahead of the festivities tonight. “I’m excited, I’m tired, I’m sad that this thing is almost over, I’m wondering if our names will be called tonight…I’m just looking forward to soaking up every moment of this last day.”
He adds, “It’s been such a special experience and one that I’m really sad of the idea of it leaving my life. I definitely feel a part of this family and hope to be a part of the show in the future.”
Throughout the season, we’ve seen how much Jordan has upped his game from week to week — but that’s not the most valuable thing that he’s learned during the season.
Jordan‘s biggest lesson from Lindsay was how not to beat himself up over the little things.
“Lindsay has done an incredible job at making me a better artist and pushing myself to work harder and do better and expect more, but at the same time, I’ve struggled my whole life with being my worst critic and being really hard on myself,” he shared. “I beat myself up over dumb things and she’s just helped me get past that and helped me not to take myself so seriously all the time.”
Jordan adds, “She’s shown me a really great example that you can do your best and that is enough. You don’t have to constantly destroy yourself to be the best at some things because at the end of the day as long as you’re prepared, when the opportunity comes along, you’ll find success.”
