Heartstopper season two is off to a strong viewing start!
The eight new episodes of the fan-favorite Netflix series debuted just last week, on August 3rd, and it’s already shot up towards the top of the streamer’s Top 10 list.
Heartstopper‘s second season premiered in the No 2 slot, just behind the second season of The Lincoln Lawyer.

Fans have been anticipating the second season of Heartstopper!!
The hit Netflix series is, of course, based on the popular web comic series by Alice Oseman, who also writes the television adaptation.
In the first season, we meet “gentle Charlie and rugby-loving Nick meet at secondary school, they quickly discover that their unlikely friendship is blossoming into an unexpected romance. Charlie, Nick and their circle of friends must navigate the ever-relatable journey of self discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves.”

Netflix will be getting rid of several titles, and you may want to start watching now!
The streaming service has shared the full list of what is set to be removed throughout August 2023, and there are a handful of TV shows on the list.
Among the TV titles leaving include Sister, Sister, Scream, and Winx Club.
They’re also removing quite a few movies, including animated features Open Season and Open Season 2.

Netflix is readying a list of new and returning titles being added to it’s monthly library!
The streaming service will be adding several movies and TV shows throughout August 2023, and frankly, we can’t wait to stream quite a few of the titles.
On the family friendly side, Netflix is set to add movies like Paddington, Bee Movie, the first two Despicable Me movies, Cloud with a Chance of Meatballs 2 and Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, plus the Netflix original movie The Monkey King!
For television, Netflix originals like Heartstopper and Gabby’s Dollhouse will return with new seasons, along with the addition of The Wiggles: Ready, Steady, Wiggle: Season 4.

Heartstopper season two is on the way and it’s coming very soon!
In fact, the official trailer for the new season just debuted on Tuesday (July 25), and you can watch it right here.
Here’s a synopsis: Nick and Charlie navigate their new relationship; Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges and Tao and Elle work out if they can ever be more than just friends. With exams on the horizon, a school trip to Paris and a prom to plan, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love and friendship.
With the new season coming out, we’re breaking down all of the cast and characters, including the several NEW actors who are joining as characters we have yet to see. There’s even an actor who is returning, but instead of just being a student, he has a bigger role with a name!
Heartstopper season two premieres on Netflix on Thursday, August 3rd.
