Marsai picked up the honor for Outstanding Performance by a Youth (Series, Special, Television Movie or Limited-series) for black-ish and her American Girl movie, Melody 1963: Love Has to Win, won the Outstanding Children’s Program! Such a big fete!

Could you imagine The Chainsmokers‘ “Don’t Let Me Down” without Daya?
The 18-year-old singer – who is nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 2017 Grammys this weekend for her work on the song – is revealing that her mom didn’t want her to record it at first because of The Chainsmokers‘ “hard-partying reputation!” (via ABC Radio)
When her mom found out about the Grammy nomination, Daya revealed, “She was laughing. ‘Cause she was against it, for a very small amount of time in the beginning. But I told her I wanted to do it, and she was okay with it, and she met [The Chainsmokers], and now she loves them and they’re like family to her!”
“I think it’s the biggest honor to get a Grammy or even to be nominated for a Grammy, because it’s so music-focused,” she added. “And it’s [voted for] by real, true, talented musicians and respectable people in the industry. So… it’s an honor to be a part of that.”
Pictured: Daya attending the Delta Air Lines official 2017 Grammys event at Beauty & Essex on Thursday (February 9) in Los Angeles. Also in attendance were Serayah, Gabby Douglas, Elle King, Halsey, Kirstin Maldonado, and Serinda Swan.

Serayah is upping the winter fashion style game at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
The actress and Empire star hit the step and repeat looking so glam for the premiere of her new movie, Burning Sands, alongside Trevor Jackson and Imani Hakim.
Executive Producer Common recently told THR about the flick: “I think we’re making a statement without having to preach. Everything doesn’t have to be only protests…because it’s about us understanding each other.”
He added, “It’s about us understanding as human beings. For us as viewers to get the experience we see in Burning Sands, we get a better understanding of what it is to be a young, black man growing up trying to find himself.”
Burning Sands will make its premiere on Netflix in March.
We can not get over how hot Serayah looked at the FOX All-Star Party last night (January 11)!
Even more — we can’t get over her Cesare Paciotti heels she rocked on the blue carpet after the Fox panels at the Winter TCA tour. They are amazing and we must have them now!
We’re even more ready to see a lot more of Serayah in the coming year.
“This year I want to be unapologetically SERAYAH whatever that means, is what I’m in search of. #authenticself,” she wrote on Twitter to kick off 2017 — and we hope we’ll see an album too.
Serayah recently admitted that she’s still working on her debut album, however, we might see some collabs on there too!
“I hope to collaborate with Jeremih or someone that’s really good right now that’s out,” she shared. “I love Nick Jonas, Jeremih, they’re really great.”
Cameron Monaghan, Lethal Weapon‘s Chandler Kinney, and The Mick‘s Sofia Black-D’Elia and Thomas Barbusca are also pictured below at the party.
FYI: Serayah also wore a Hamel dress, Butani diamond ear climbers and a Noudar choker and midi-rings. Chandler is wearing Imagine Vince Camuto heels and a Vince Camuto clutch. Sofia is wearing Schutz shoes.
