In the sequel to Teen Beach Movie, the movie picks up right where the original left off and surfer sweethearts McKenzie (Maia Mitchell) and Brady have returned from a summer adventure that transported them into Brady’s favorite 1960s beach party movie, Wet Side Story.
But they’re in for a big surprised when Lela (Grace Phipps), Tanner, Butchy and their other newfound surfer and biker buddies arrive in their world.

Maia Mitchell keeps close to Ross Lynch at the premiere of Teen Beach Movie held at The Entertainment Quarter on Sunday afternoon (August 4) in Sydney, Australia.
The 19-year-old Aussie actress and 17-year-old actor were joined on the yellow carpet by Lab Rats’ Spencer Boldman.
“It’s been kind of crazy,” Maia recently told the Sydney Morning Herald. “I was actually moving out of home and moving to Sydney when I got [Teen Beach Movie]. I had my car full of stuff and I was trying to audition for this Disney Channel movie. I ended up booking [it], flew back to the States and started rehearsing straight away. So it was pretty crazy.”
