Lightyear is blasting onto Disney+ in the very near future!
The Disney/Pixar movie was just given a release date for the streaming platform.
In addition to the date reveal, a new mini-trailer/TV spot was just revealed, mostly featuring Sox, the robot companion cat.
“Lightyear looks amazing on the big screen, of course, but we are so excited to bring it to Disney+,” director Angus MacLane shared. “We devoted years of our lives to this film and we are so proud of it. We want to share it with as many people as possible. Disney+ not only gives more fans an opportunity to see Lightyear, it gives us all the means to see it again and again.”

Keke Palmer donned a bright green eyeliner with her colorful outfit while stepping out for the premiere of her new movie Lightyear held at El Capitan Theatre on Wednesday (June 8) in Hollywood.
The 28-year-old actress and host was joined by her co-stars Chris Evans, Peter Sohn, Uzo Aduba, James Brolin, Dale Soules, Isiah Whitlock Jr, Mary McDonald-Lewis and Efren Ramirez.
The upcoming animated Pixar movie the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy, and follows the legendary Space Ranger after he’s marooned on a hostile planet 4.2 million light-years from Earth alongside his commander and their crew.

Dakota Fanning stuns on the red carpet as she arrives at the screening of her new film American Pastoral hosted by Lionsgate at the Museum of Modern Art on Wednesday (October 19) in New York City.
The 22-year-old actress was joined at the screening by cast members Uzo Aduba and Ewan McGregor as well as former Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart!

After the screening, the cast hung out at the after party where they laughed and chatted with press.
American Pastoral is set to hit theaters October 21st.
