Sami Gayle keeps it chic on the red carpet at the screening of At Any Price in New York City last month.

It was just announced (via Deadline) that the 17-year-old actress will be joining Vampire Academy along with Cameron Monaghan, Ashley Charles and Claire Foy.

Sami will play nemesis Mia, while Cameron, 19, will take on the role of Mason Ashford, best friend to Rose, who becomes a romantic interest.

Based on Richelle Mead‘s popular book series, the books focus on Rose Hathaway (Zoey Deutch) , a teenage Dhampir girl, who is training to be a bodyguard for her Moroi best friend, Lissa (Lucy Fry). But in the process of training, Rose falls into a forbidden love with her instructor, Dimitri Belikov (Danila Kozlovsky).

FYI: Sami is also pictured at the premiere of The English Teacher, the 2013 New York Emmy Awards and at the Catherine Martin And Miuccia Prada Dress Gatsby Opening Cocktail Party.

Cameron Monaghan is all smiles on his way out of Chateau Marmont on Thursday night (April 25) in Los Angeles.

Cameron recently chatted with Ology about what viewers can expect on season two of Shameless, “Well Chicago in the summer, it’s sweaty and it’s sometimes nasty! Everyone’s outside of the house, kind of doing their own thing so we’re gonna see a lot more of the outside of Chicago for the first half of the season. Overall, you’ll see an active, sweatier, sexier side of Shameless!”

Cameron also tweeted about a new movie he’ll be working on soon. “I booked a great indie feature film a month ago, but reps were working out schedules. Thanks to the Director, Josh, for working it out! I have to wait for the production company or the Director to make the announcement, so I am unable to give the name of the feature film.”
