In the upcoming special, the Russo family and friends travel to Tuscany, Italy to meet their long lost relatives…but when Alex (Gomez) tries to prove she’s more than a seemingly carefree young Wizard, she inadvertently conjures a spell that creates a Good Alex and an Evil Alex.

When Evil Alex gets roped into a charming young wizard’s (Mirchoff) foreboding plan to take over the world, Good Alex must find a way to save her family and humankind, which leads to a monumental battle between the two versions of herself – all atop the Tower of Pisa.

Bailee Madison celebrates her upcoming movie, Parental Guidance, at Buca di Beppo at Universal CityWalk on Tuesday night (December 11) in Universal City, Calif.

Good friends and former co-stars Jennifer Stone and Jake T. Austin came out to celebrate with Bailee, as well as Taylor Spreitler.

The Wizards of Waverly Place cast snap a pic after a full day of press on Friday evening (November 9) in Santa Clarita, Calif.

Selena Gomez, Jennifer Stone, Jake T. Austin, Gregg Sulkin, Maria Canals-Barrera and David DeLuise finished up the shoot on the one-hour special, which will air early next year.

“That’s a wrap on the Wizards reunion! It was a blast to be around the Wizards family again. I hope you guys will enjoy it in early 2013!” Jennifer tweeted.

Selena added just a few days prior, “Feels so good to be home… Love my cast SO freaking much. Always make me smile.”

Jennifer just recently signed on the dotted line to star in the upcoming Nothing To Fear, Variety reports.

She’ll star as the impulsive and edgy middle child in the flick about a family whose journey towards a better life in a small town is savagely derailed by a charismatic but emotionally conflicted man of the cloth (Clancy Brown).

Nothing To Fear also stars James Tupper, Anne Heche, and Ethan Peck.

Jennifer will also be seen in the upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place special on Disney Channel.
