Hamster & Gretel is the latest animated series from Phineas & Ferb co-creator Dan Povenmire!
The new show airs weekly on Saturday mornings at 9:30am ET/PT on Disney Channel, and follows Kevin and younger sister Gretel, who are about to be bestowed super powers by space aliens. But something goes awry, and it’s Gretel and her pet hamster (named Hamster) who suddenly have new abilities. Now, protective older brother Kevin must figure out how to work with both Gretel and her pet Hamster to protect their city from mysterious dangers.
The music-filled series is actually based off of Dan‘s real life relationship with his younger sister.
If you have seen the first episodes (you can watch the first five on Disney+ now!), then you may recognize some of the voices on the show.

After the release of her movie Bullet Train this past weekend, Joey King is now starting work on her next film!
The 23-year-old actress was joined by co-star Zac Efron while kicking off filming for their upcoming Netflix rom-com, which currently has a working title of A Family Affair, on Monday (August 8) in Atlanta, Ga.
Not spotted on set was Nicole Kidman, who will be playing Joey‘s mom and Zac‘s love interest.
According to Deadline, the film follows a “surprising romance which kicks off comic consequences for a young woman (King), her mother (Kidman) and her movie star boss (Efron) as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity.”
This will be Zac and Nicole‘s second time working together after starring in the 2012 movie The Paperboy, in which they also played love interests.

Joey King is looking radiant on the red carpet!
The 23-year-old actress was joined by fiance Steven Piet at the premiere of her new movie Bullet Train on Monday (August 1) at Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles.
Also joining Joey at the premiere were her cast mates Logan Lerman, Brad Pitt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, and Zazie Beetz.
In the film, trained killer Ladybug (Pitt) wants to give up the life but is pulled back in by his handler Maria Beetle in order to collect a briefcase on a bullet train heading from Tokyo to Kyoto. Onboard the train, he and other competing assassins discover their objectives are all connected.
Bullet Train will be out in theaters on Friday, August 5 – watch the trailer here!

The 23-year-old actress rocked a hot pink look while participating in a Bullet Train press day on Monday afternoon (August 1) in Los Angeles.
Joey will be attending the L.A. premiere of Bullet Train later this evening.

Joey King slicks her hair down for the premiere of her movie Bullet Train held at Cineworld Leicester Square on Wednesday evening (July 20) in London.
The 22-year-old actress stepped out for the final stop of the European part of her press tour for the upcoming movie.
She joined her co-stars Brad Pitt, Brian Tyree Henry and Aaron Taylor-Johnson on the carpet, alongside director David Leitch and his wife/producer Kelly McCormick.
“London premiere for Bullet Train🇬🇧 What a way to end this part of our tour. We had far too much fun and now im gonna sleeeeeep. Feeling really moved by all this, I loved galavanting around europe with this sweet sweet cast and everyone who made this tour happen,” Joey captioned photos on Instagram from the premiere.
“Thank you to @dimitrishair @pollyosmond & @jaredengstudios for NAILING all these looks and making me feel like a boss ass bitch. ❤️” she added of her glam team.

Joey King and Brad Pitt literally jumped through photos at the photo call for their movie Bullet Train at The Corinthia Hotel on Wednesday (July 20) in London.
The stars photobombed their co-stars Brian Tyree Henry and Aaron Taylor-Johnson at the latest stop on their international press tour.
Also seen jumping for photos were director David Leitch and producer Kelly McCormick.
The day before, the group was in Berlin for a premiere and photo call, after being in Paris for press.
They’re all making their way through Europe before heading off to more destinations ahead of Bullet Train hitting theaters on August 5th.
