Dove Cameron Shoots Down Our Theory About Her Playing Ghost Spider in 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

Just before the weekend hit, JJJ hypothesized that Dove Cameron could be playing Ghost Spider in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as her other new project, Marvel’s Rising: Secret Warriors.

However, she went and just shot down all our thoughts about that happening.

Dove will be voicing Ghost Spider aka Spider Gwen in the new animated series, and a still unknown character for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

“Nope…2 different roles,” she tweeted. “Animation and #agentsofshield are separate! Just can’t get my hands off @Marvel apparently.”

While we’re bummed out that our theory didn’t prove to be true, we’re still excited about her two new roles in the Marvel universe.
