OlderCecily Strong Teases 'Schmigadoon!' Season 2 Details
Cecily Strong is dishing on the upcoming second season of her AppleTV+ series Schmigadoon!
The musical comedy was given a second season earlier this month, with most of the cast returning.
Schmigadoon! is a parody of iconic musicals, and in season one it followed a couple on a backpacking trip designed to reinvigorate their relationship when they discover a magical town in which everyone is living in a studio musical from the 1940s. They then discover that they can’t leave until they find “true love.”
In a recent interview, the Saturday Night Live cast member dished a little of what fans can expect.

“We’re going into ’60s and ’70s musicals. I can’t reveal much, but I will say, I’m loving my wardrobe this season. Oh, yeah. I’ve already worn feathers twice, so if that tells you anything,” Cecily told Variety.
The new season is rumored to be called “Schmicago,” referencing the 1975 musical Chicago.
Most of the cast will be returning for the new season, including Dove Cameron, Ariana DeBose, Kristin Chenoweth, Keegan-Michael Key and Aaron Tveit.
