Rachel Zegler Meets Up With BFF & 'West Side Story' Co-Star Ilda Mason in NYC

Rachel Zegler dons a Yankees hat and a gray coat while stepping out on Thursday (January 5) in New York City.

The 21-year-old actress was seen meeting up with her BFF Ilda Mason, who she also co-starred with in West Side Story.

While out in the city, Rachel was also seen with her headphones in, and one fan tweeted asking what she was listening to, to which she replied, “midnights LOL.”

Another fan shared a video that was captured of Rachel and Ilda, which she replied, “they really followed me down like 9 blocks huh……….”

The fan then asked what she does in paparazzi situations, asking if she was “press trained to ignore them or what.”

Rachel said, “didn’t even know they were there but yes. always be kind if anyone gets in your way. if i notice them i usually say ‘i will pose for 30 seconds if i can have a normal rest of the day’ and that usually works :) they’ve never been rude to me; i am very thankful.”

The actress has a big year ahead of her, with two major movie releases – first, she has Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which is out on March 17th, then she has The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, which will be released in November 2023.
